Dear DA,
I just finished my first major tour...400 miles between
each show and an almost constant need to keep moving.
Every night was like the finals of a b-ball tournament...a
room full of hungry fans, and for me another chance
to introduce myself and my music...I wanted to turn
them on, and warm their blood...some crowds were only
luke warm and a challenge to boil...others were on the
verge before we ever hit the stage.
That 3 weeks was by miles the best time I've ever had...it
was like going to an all-out—off the chains—party
every night...imagine that! The Maroon 5 guys were chill,
lot's of fun on off days ..and Gavin and his crew were
fun to share dressing rooms and counters at the bar
with...it got messy.
BUT..BUT my favorite part was the 30 minutes I got
to perform...the faces I saw, the voices I heard, and
the energy I felt was insane...I can't even compare
it to anything I've ever experienced. The band and I
were kids at the playground.
If anyone reading this was there...thanks for being.
I'm hooked on the whole experience, and vow to pursue
those nights until I take my last breath.
I'm home for about a month to reconstruct...and prepare
for a blistering 2004...I'd like to make it to every
state at least once...again..thanks to the people listening
to my music for lifting me into this position...it feels
good...I'll check in soon..
god loves disc.art.!!!
