DiscoveringArtists.com
heats up cool season with hot site features
It's
getting crisp outside here in New Jersey and we’re ready to cozy
up to some fall shows. We’ll gallivant over to see Charlotte Martin
and Matt Nathanson on November 3 at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park,
NJ, and will be hitting up Fooling April’s show on Nov. 13 in
Philly. Wherever we wind up, we’re bound to run into friends and
have fun.
Site wise, the CDs are piling up. Reviews have been sluggish because
Kristen recently started freelance writing full-time. Dan just
got a fabulous beach apartment. Now we’re living in the same town!
Madness will ensue…we’re just sure of it!
Make sure to spread the love and keep suggesting great artists!

show, Jack and Bobby. Congrats to Trizzy P on that one.
Josh Ritter is coming back to the Northeast in December
after touring across the globe with Sarah Harmer, Ari Hest,
Rufus Wainwright and Griffin House. We're damn proud
of Michael Tolcher, whose song "Sooner or Later"
can be heard weekly on ABC's Life as We Know It. DecentXposure
released Volume 4 and is coming out with a print magazine. Maren
Ord resurrected herself with the release of "Not Today"–
we’ll have the review shortly. Kristin Cifelli has her
tracks in iTunes, and Kyler England will perform at a November
9 bigwig Grammy event.

Marc: Drive
Dreamy vocals and swoony acoustic rock jams make this album a
good listen. "Whole Lot of Love" was recently featured
on MTV's Real World San Diego, and contains catchy pop hooks.
Marc's sound cross between Dashboard Confessional and Graham Colton
Band, his rhythms sturdy and vocals distinct, able to hit high
notes with ease. He's got an edge of that almost foreign-sounding
accent similar to Blink 182 or Simple Plan, but the New Yorker
is definitely all-American. In "Who the Hell are You"
he sings, "All I wanna be is who I know I should be/Who I
think I am has got to be better than me." Marc was just submitted
for Grammy consideration, so things are looking bright for the
California rocker, who is also a member of the band Modern Day
Hero.
